These Southern Confederate Markers were in danger of attack from the North as the Northern winds blow thru this timeless old tree.
There are still some Good Ole Southern Boys and Girls that will stand up and defend our Ancestors.
Mr. Shelton Mason and brother Allen Mason
Mr. Richard Layhew

The tree directly behind this marker is threatening several markers in the Chadwick Cemetery.
This ole Elm tree has seen better days. It was determined that it wouldn't make it thru the summer and it posed a danger to several Grave Markers including the Confederate marker above.
Mr. Lyle Mason son of Shelton Mason pushes the ole tree in the right direction awaiting the surgeon with the chainsaw. The upper part of the tree was leaning towards the markers and was a potential disaster if anything went wrong.
Piece of Cake is in this expression. Could we just get this over with! What's with the clown and the camera?
Notches cut awaiting the cameraman/surgeon with a chainsaw to make the final cut.
Sweat! Are you Kidding? That tree jumped over when I cranked this Bad Boy up.
Our Supervisor/Water Girl
Mrs. Nell Mason wife of Shelton

Into Action
It's Break Time
Can I borrow your seat?
Its obvious who's doing all the work.
That young Whippersnapper just thought he was gonna get my seat.
Look at the seat I've just created. I'll bet that Old-timer will be over here in a minute taking over.
Notice the Confederate Marker to the right behind the stump.
They cut the wrong tree.
Two truly Southern Gentlemen.
This crew did a tremendous job.
Thanks
